I spent a lot of time researching ebikes in the $900-$1800 price range. Ultimately I went with the Wing Fatty 2. Man am I glad I did! Assembly was easy to follow from the video. I got the throttle, and the video to says to install it at a certain point, then much later in the video it walks you through the install. That was confusing, and I ended up doing it wrong at first and had to redo it. Entire assembly took about 2 hours. I just got back with my first real ride, about 8 miles. Plenty of power, man! It says it'll go 20mph on throttle only, but I was routinely getting 22-24mph on throttle only. Very comfortable as well, good handling bike. I had a regular mountain bike before this, so it's definitely heavier. Not great for hopping up curbs, etc. But I'm using it as a commuter bike mostly, won't need too many tricks. Gets stares, everywhere. It's definitely a looker. It's an extremely good looking bike. You don't see ebikes this good looking in this price range, IMO. Love the integrated lights, front and rear. Smooth shifting. Love the protection of the fenders as well. This is the ebikes to get, without a doubt. Overall, a definite 5/5! Thanks Wing Bikes!

So I’ve been riding the Fatty 2 for over a week and I honestly can say I love it. Though it’s kind of heavy, it still rides very easy. I wish it was a little faster but overall it’s a great commuter for work. I haven’t driven my car to work since I got my bike. Great price and looks great.

Purchased a FATTY 2 last fall. Living in Nashville y'all know it has its fair share of hills as well as miles of bike greenways. This bike is a CHAMP. I usually ride between 20 to 30 miles a clip which includes some steep short hills and miles of flat greenways and streets. This bike doesn't disappoint on any level. Regardless of the incline or grade, adjusting the electric assist is a breeze and the motor doesn't hesitate one bit. There were two things I changed out on the bike which were specific to my riding preference; a new wider seat and a new angled handlebar which lets you sit up straighter when you ride. Here's the real deal, if you're shopping electric bikes stop searching and BUY a WING, you'll LOVE IT...!

This is my first ebike. As my first, im damn impressed. High quality design and construction, fairly easy to assemble on your own once you get past sliding off the grips. The throttle play on this thing is such a beast. Its what i expected, but even more than i expected. Plus the pedal assist. I had my ideas about what an ebike could and should be, and this one definitely is all that and more. Top of class, would highly recommend. Get you one now if you're on the fence.
